The Hydrogen Fuel Cell Research Group was established as an initiative by Tutor Science Ltd., in collaboration with a dedicated group of its students. Tutor Science Ltd. aims to provide students aspiring to pursue engineering careers with early exposure to research, collaborative team meetings, and the practical challenges of discussing future plans and addressing project issues. Participants in this project are selected based on their demonstrated enthusiasm for engineering and their involvement in personal side projects showcasing their passion and initiative.

Why focus on hydrogen fuel cells?
Our research highlights that hydrogen fuel cells represent one of the most sustainable energy solutions for meeting everyday needs. They have the potential to generate sufficient energy with minimal environmental impact, relying primarily on sunlight and water. While the process is inherently a bit more complex, the fundamental principle involves using solar energy to perform the electrolysis of water, producing the hydrogen needed for fuel cells. Furthermore, hydrogen fuel cells are highly appealing due to their eco-friendly byproducts water and heat making them a clean and efficient energy source.
